Moby Wrap Sling
MOBY WRAP USERS! How'd you like it?
I was wondering what mothers who used the Moby wrap thought of it. I had two slings with my first son and didn't like either of them. I really want to get one of these but don't want to waste my money. So, tell me how you liked it or didn't. Thanks a bunch!!
I LOVE my Moby wrap! My daughter was born in June of this year and since then I put her in the wrap. She absolutely LOVES to be nestled in there. Since the summer is here, I wear her at the house when I'm doing chores. When I need to go to the store, I put my toddler in the cart and my newborn in the wrap. She sleeps the entire time I'm running my errands. There has been times that my toddler have had temper tantrums and I"m able to pick up and carry my toddler to soothe her while my newborn is in it.
Both my daughter and I attend a Toddler-Parent class and of course my newborn comes along... I place her in the wrap and watching what is going on but falls asleep within minutes. I'm able to interact with my toddler, play with her, sing along with her, sit on the with her while my baby is in the wrap. I haven't tried all the positions yet but I certainly will try most of the positions. Since my baby wa born I've used the "Hugh Hold" she loves this position! She doesn't have enough head control so I like to tuck her head in under one of the shoulder sections.
I HIGHLY recommend it, I've been able to use it even during the summer and my daughter has not complained once... and I live in Southern CA where it's mostly hot.
If you don't want to spend too much on it try Craigslist, I got my "gently used" on CL for $10.
