Being a well endowed woman myself, I know first hand how frustrating it can be to have a nursing bra (or any bra) not fit correctly or not being able to find my size. It seems like bras in stores are always made for our smaller chested counterparts.
So how do you find a plus size nursing bra that works? Here a few tips.
Get the right fit: When it comes to buying bras fit is important. Most women overestimate their band size and underestimate their bra size. Make sure you measure yourself before you buy nursing bras to get the right fit, and remember your body is going through big changes right now, so measure again in a month.
Shop online: OK ladies, lets face it, in stores pickings are slim if you are over a DD cup size. But online there are a lot of bras to choose from that come in all the larger cup sizes and don't cost $100 each. I personally think that Amazon and eBay have some of the best deals out there right now, and I love the customer reviews and customer feedback on these sights.
Look for support and comfort: Can we say no/low bounce is important? Supportive bras don't have to be ugly, but make sure that they have enough to them to give you proper support. You want to look for either underwire or a wide bottom band with wider straps. Most importantly you want your bra to have absolutely no seems across the nipples ( I still can't figure out why bra manufacturers do this!).
